Ever stand in the rain???

I went outside in my backyard for a few moments today, and just let the raindrops fall on me. It was beautiful and relaxing. I love the sounds of thunder, and sights of lightning. Unfortunately, I had my clothes on, but trust me, I did not want to; it felt great on my skin. Anyone else fantasize about this?

Ever stand in the rain???
Oh, yes...dance in the rain..get soaked..clothes stuck to the skin..walk hand in hand with the drip drip drip sound following you...mmmm....

I am envious..it's nearly 98 here..no rain, nor thunder....love that wet weather above all!
Reply:I have kissed in the rain.

That was nice.
Reply:Sometimes I even shake my fist at it.
Reply:Yes, I love to go out in the rain.
Reply:My ex and I went for a walk in the rain, it was one of the most romantic things we ever did.

Another time I walked a couple blocks to the store in a torrential downpour in the middle of the night, there was no one around and I jumped in the puddles, got soaking wet, and had a great time.

I know...I'm not normal, but I like it. :)
Reply:Yes, I do go out in the rain and love it. Love the sound of thunder. And yes, sometimes I think about that, but there's no place I can do it...
Reply:yes i have stand in the rain before. it was awsome feeling the rain tingle on my skin as it landed.
Reply:I love rain!

I always wanted to skinny dip in the rain. just for the heck of it.
Reply:Yes, my sister and I danced and stood in the rain because it was raining really hard and the wind was blowing, and the thunder was roaring, and the lightening was striking the sky with it's flashing blue streaks! It was an amazing moment in time to dance and stand and feel the rain covering my body and soaking my hair and clothes! Oh, how I long for moments like these. :)
Reply:Well, I hadn't fantasized about it until just now....

Not raining in DC yet though.

Running in the Rain...?

This woman was having an affair during the day while her husband was at work.

One day she was in bed with her boyfriend and she heard her husband's car pull in the driveway. She yelled at the boyfriend "Hurry! Grab your clothes and jump out the window; my husband is home early!"

The boyfriend looked out the window and said, "I can't jump out the window! It's raining like crazy out there and I'm naked!" She said, "If my husband catches us in here, he will kill both of us!" So the boyfriend grabbed his clothes and jumped out the window!

When he landed outside he was in the middle of a "running marathon," so he started to run along beside the others - only he was still in the nude, carrying his clothes over his arm.

One of the runners asked, "Do you always run in the nude?"

He answered, while gasping for breath, "Oh yes. It feels so free having the air blow over my skin while I'm running."

Another runner then asked the nude lover, "Do you always run carrying your clothes on your arm?"

The naked lover answered breathlessly, "Oh yes. That way I can get dressed at the end of the run and get in my car and just go straight home without a shower!"

The marathon runner then asked, "Do you always wear a condom when you run?"

The nude man answered, "Only if it's raining..."

Running in the Rain...?

Sudden temperature change made my body feel so different....why?

Ok so I live in miami all my live and I go to NY for the first time

I got lost on the streets so I was in the cold for almost 2 hours, not to mention it was raining

when I get to my ants house I take a hot shower imediately.

all of a sudden my muscles feel wierd and the hot water touchest my skin. like I needed to scatch my muslces... is really hard to explain but what made my body turn to this allmost allergic reaction.

Sudden temperature change made my body feel so different....why?
your body is not used to the cold then you go back in the warm and jump into a hot shower your body went in to a kinda like shock, i moved to fl for years and went back home,MD got soaked in a cold rain went inside to a hot shower to get rid of the chill and had the same reaction. if you took a warm shower would have been better believe it.

Still.rain.heart.Beats?

I miss talking like we used to.

Where words meant everything.

And we didn't have to hold up the constellations.

Just so the stars wouldn't fall.

Nothing makes any sense.

Without the bliss of skin rubbing next to unidentified bones.

And I'm so sick of silence.

And how everything means nothing.

I've been feeling crushed lately.

Suffocating on the things I just couldn't bring myself to say.

Wishing for a center alignment to show you that every piece is still here.

But baby, let's just face the fact that we're both broken.

I miss a lot of things these days.

The way the rain falls down on these warm nights.

And the way you twist my words into everything their not.

I miss every mistake and every erase mark on the paper.

Because all I wanted was for everything to be ok.

but nothing's okay. when the sky shattered worse than my heart.

and your hands couldn't let go of the door handle long enough

to catch me.

Still.rain.heart.Beats?
awww..that is really good. that is exactly how i feel right now. you just wish that you could be their like "best friend" again like good old days and make everything alright again..i think this shows how ppl feel when they loose someone that they know they should be with...its like loosing part of yourself. you just wanna die inside. i really enjoyed reading it. it brings out all the emotions of heart break. =) good job.

Poem # 7 newest one...your opinion?

Beautiful Eyes

Beautiful eyes

But they do not see.

So blind, so very blind...

How I give myself to thee

Pouring out my heart

A river.

A smile to hide the pain

I long to touch your face again...

Run my fingertips

Upon your saccharine skin.

I strive in vain

Through tears that fall

Such bitter rain.

To savor that sweet kiss

To feel you in my arms.

Just one more moment

Yet always does it seem

I miss...

Those beautiful eyes

They no longer seem to see

Only me.

Poem # 7 newest one...your opinion?
Hi Spiffs, I like this. With so many poems that write about someone's eyes, I didn't expect to. However, it didn't seem tired and old to me. Saccharine skin is an interesting phrase. It does make you stop and think about it. I may agree with Kevin that the artificial nature of Saccharine may detract from your message--I do like the image of skin sweet to the touch though--it mixes up the senses.

All in all--good read.
Reply:First of all, you need to be careful of using words like "thee" in a modern poem that is not a period piece. Also, "saccharine"? even if you meant "saccharine", I don't see how it could be a compliment (artificially sweet?), and if an insult, seems a little out of place in this part of the poem.

Other than that, it's okay. I'd probably suggest you modify "through tears that fall such bitter rain" to read "through tears that fall like so much bitter rain", but that's a nuance that only the poet can tell if it makes it better or worse.

A good poem...not a great one, but a good one if you edit it a little.

keep writing, you're better than most.
Reply:I'm not sure about the saccharine skin....maybe angelic or honeyed. Saccharine to me means artificial, like she wasn't really sweet. Just a thought...otherwise I like it very much.
Reply:Wow another horrible poem

When will you stop

seriously you need a new hobby

Trust me you are no Langston Hughs

Tell me poeticly...?

how fresh rain drops feel on your naked skin?

how a warm summer breeze sweeps you away?

and all things that would or could make your heart beat fast?

Tell me poeticly...?
Of a moment…

The chilling yet warm signature of flesh being warmed by the summer’s fire of the drops of soothing water upon my back… A gentle whisper of a breeze brings the sweet smell of delight that appeals to all of the senses and relaxes my frame and soul.

The rushing roar of a cascading stream flows through my ears and into the deepest depths of my heart an energy surges.

A primal wanting for an endeavoring wave of simple joy and desire of not being alone in all of this, but knowing you are with me as the clouds mingle with the sunshine and the dancing trees…

Of a moment, an intellect being understood through the cry of understanding and emotion…

Have a good day my dear friend. I hope this pleases you.

I am longing to treasure, this world I pleasure, with faster beating heart...I seem motionless from start...only my breath that give me away, on this moonlit nights exotic display. Chase me...I shall run, into your warm arms. For my love I give, under these stars.
Reply:A fresh rain on naked skin

cold or warm, light and dark.

A warm summer breeze

sweeping away

all those cares

and all those memories.

All that would make my heart beat

just one thing

one that could

never be

the kiss of my love

my life

my heart

it shall never be

for alas, she sees me as but a friend.

What to do

what to say

when I see her

my heart skips

my head is lighter

I think clearer

and then

I remember

I shall never be with her

and my soul is weighted down

by what could

what should

what will never be.

Dedicated fully to Steve. BUT EVERYONE ELSE feel free to read my poem plz????

Dedicated fully to Steve.

Sitting on this bench,

allowing the rain to wash my skin.

Thinking of the past,

and how I just can't let it go.

The barrier around me,

has completety broken from my anger.

No longer controlled,

free to think of what I must.

Facing all of it.

This time, the whole entire monster.

My horrifying past,

the one I can't seem to erase.

Wishing it was gone,

wishing I could be a tiger...

hunting its pray.

My pray I'd kill till sundown...

but that's out of the question.

The rain washes it away,

washes away all the tension in my body.

Thinking more clearly,

maybe I'll see things for what they are.

The bloody truth.

Scratching my had,

I contemplate even more deeply.

Searching through me,

like a man hunting for honey...

in a crowded bee hive.

Moving on is it,

it's exactly what I must do.

I must be the prey,

running from the monster.

But, succeeding in running...

getting away.

Starting over is it,

but somethings holding me back.

But what is it? Is it that secret deep within me?

I know it seems unfinished... i just couldn't think of a ending.. one to make you think real hard... a poem that makes ya think... ya know? But whatever... what do you think of it so far?

Dedicated fully to Steve. BUT EVERYONE ELSE feel free to read my poem plz????

What does your Freedom and Fun mean to you?

I ran towards an exit door, the escape you showed me. You led me to a path I'd never want to leave. You taught me to break out of my own cage and see the world through your eyes. Hero, your world struck me speechless. Rain engulfed me, drop by drop, on my skin. Its night and the lights are shining brightly like the glittering stars above me. Cars driving by - tires on the wet road - numb in my ears. The breeze leaves me breathless. I feel like dancing, with faint music in the distance. My nose and cheeks red by the chill. Yet I have no jacket on.

If only I could walk on and on, smiling to myself. But I've got a destination to reach. I can sense your presence with me, walking along, carrying my burdens. Ready to catch me in your steady hands if I fall. I stop and grasp the freedom, open my mouth and let the fain fall in. The taste I longed for, lifting my soul and let it all go as I opened my fist and spread out my arms. Take me away. I close my eyes.

What does your Freedom and Fun mean to you?
For me...

Freedom is the freedom to do the right, the just things without the fear of punishment from the state, opposition from the society and hindrance from the neighbouts.

Fun, is a way to recharge myself in a manner that makes me physically and mentally healthy. That can be through sports, reading, or physical activities.
Reply:G'day Maryam,

Thank you for your question.

That is a well written couple of paragraphs. Well done.

Reply:Yeah, spectacular writing! Wow.... Definitely brightened my mood, lifted my Spirit.

I am going to say to me Freedom, Fun, "Bliss" as one person mentioned, are relative terms. Freedom is definitely the OPPOSITE of surrender; it's always having one more card up your sleeve and another twinkle in your eye. Freedom to me is defiance of oppressive forces, even rising above them on a whole new ground. And fun is in that defiance of said forces that offend your deepest belief in "what must exist under this ugly veil," and seeing the bewilderment in their eyes as you transcend their world, with their slaves merrily in tow.

NATASHA BEDINGFIELD-UNWRITTEN!

How do you feel about this? (This is the fact)?

I think reading this in 5-10 minutes would be better than listening to the news for a lifteime.Plz don't think I'm a very old person.Just 18.A university student studying English who just cannot sit back and hope. This article has two parts: 1.Cultural and general info 2.political info.If you wanna know a part of the truth, read it from top to bottom.

Hi.I'm Iranian and I live in Iran. When I chat with people from other countries, I understand that they have totally wrong ideas about Iran.I just wrote this article to correct you.

The first thing they accuse our government of, is that they don't let you be free.Actually, Iranians don't obey the laws they don't like as much as possible. Many strict rules in other countries, don't even exist in Iran. Also, you should understand that what may seem so normal to you, may be a nightmare for us and vise versa. That's why you don't understand a few of Iran's laws.In Iran every single house has a sattelite. Sattelite channels had a serious influence on people, they wear very fashionable clothes.Maybe it's a kind of immitation, but still it's got an unique Iranian style. You'll begin to wonder if it's a country or the fantacy land of beauty queens! Almost half their hair is out and they wear a lot of make up and fationable clothes.Iran is one of the super-consumers of cosmics. You'll be surprised seeing the difference between what you imagined before and how the real Iran is! Everything's great if you don't take unemployment, inflation and air pollution into account which I guess are common problems in many other countries. You can't compare Itran today with the one in 30 years ago! Nearly 65-70% of Iran's population is considered the new generation (The youth) and they've transformed everything.

Some people think women don't have any rights in Iran! Women are overtaking Iran. They're so respectful and they're the winners in most cases: They get into the best universities cos they're so clever. They get the best jobs cos they can do jobs better than men. They've got rights that have made it difficult for men to marry them, because husbands should buy them expensive things and treat them very well, otherwise women will have the right to ask them a great amount of money (called Mehr) according to the law which most husbands cannot afford, so they'll be imprisoned. The only thing that women are not allowed to do in Iran is getting into public football stadiums and that's because such places are full of cheeky guys. They do anything from taking part in rallies to singing DJ / pop songs.Anything! I've put a sample here.I feel foolish for sitting here explaining ordinary things to you.

Another funny thing: Your footage about stoning the women who have committed adultery.Have you ever asked yourselves they relate to how many years ago?For your information, those are from Afghanistan which was ruled by freaks (Taliban). When you think of such things, try to think of the racism in your country too.I find it difficult to make you understand that Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan are SEPERATE COUNTRIES! 60% of Iranians are Persian and 30% are Turkish! I find it even more difficult to make you understand that Iran is a normal country like any other countries in the world. There's nothing mysterious about it!(The media are very good at making scary titles: BEHIND THE CLOSED DOORS!!! IRAN UNDERCOVER!!! This would be enough to scare people away! Iranians are much more open-minded than what you think!!! I'm sure you don't know that there are lots of Iranian geniouses and scientists that are all under 25.You don't hear about their discoveries and inventions on TV. For instance a 17 year old boy has invented 72 amazing inventions and there are many KIDS like that.Iranian students and sportsmen win gold and silver medals in different compotitions in the world all the time such as robotics, biology, maths, physics, sports, anything! Why don't the media talk about them? They just can't summerise everything in one word "nuclear", although we're proud of it cos having nuclear energy means a country is developed.Did you know that the countries having the highest number of scientists in the world are in this order? 1-India 2-Korea 3-Iran

A few months ago Iran uncovered the most effective anti-H.I.V medicine and it was signing treaties with other countries to export it.I digged the news on the internet, but there was no single sign of that. What did I find instead? "President Bush CLAIMS that bomb parts are imported from Iran into Iraq!"(The same old story!) The media are injustice. They put CLAIMS on the headlines, but they never talk about facts! Some interesting facts:

Iran is the pionier in medicine and genetics and Iranian surgens have found lots of new methods for treating spinal defects and many other diseases (mainly the treatment for different types of cancer) and the best brain and heart surgens are Iranian surgens. The head of Mars Mission in NASA is Iranian. One of the best designers of sports cars working in Germany is Iranian. Some of the best 3D animators are Iranian.Iran is one of the best countries in counter-engineering.Holds the second place in building dams and in loads of other things! It's one of the top countries in these fields: bio-technology and nono-technology.The 4th highest tower in the world (Milad tower) is in Tehran ( visit it in the second link).51 top universities out of the 100 top universities in the Mid-East are in Iran and they're among some of the top universities of the world as well. The champion weight-lifter, the woman, and a song by one of the pop singers who/which won the nobel peace prize are Iranians.Lots of Iranians win nobel prizes specially in the field of medicine .Iranian girls are famous for being terrific.Persian rug and Persian literature, many Persian poets and scientists that are so famous.Iranian culture is now westernised and only a little has survived! According to statistics Tehran is the cheapest capital city in the world for foriegners of course not for us! (Cos our rate is different: one Dollar =about 950 Tomans!) There are many other things. How many pages would you need to describe a country?Iran is an independant country unlike its neighbouring countries. It has nearly all the developed industries and technologies. The list is endless.

News: "Iranian scentists managed to make human teeth grow after you've lost them using basic cells"

I'm gonna intoduce Iran's international news website to you (Press TV) which was establlished recently. It's fully in English. You'll find what they're hiding from you! In the "Sic / Tech" section you'll always see Iran's discoveries. The address is: http://www.presstv.ir/news.aspx Press TV news: Iranian scientists have registered more than 4800 inventions during the last Iranian calendar year of 1385 (April 21 2006-April 20, 2007). 4800 inventions in just one year!

Some charactristics of Iranians would be: Proud, greedy, hard-working for themselve, lazy at doing their duty well!, intelligent, ambitious, not realistic, not so religious (sadly the majority of the young generation is not), not punctual, impatient, well-dressed, formal, well-educated, warm and friendly and hospitable.

Some people think Iran's a desert! lol Iran is a modern country with breathtakingly beautiful nature and lots of historic places to visit. Please take a look at the following links to see if Iran looks like what you think or not! This is a photo of Tehran (Awesome.Isn't it?): http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tehran

Some people think music is forbidden in Iran.Did you know that Iranian pop music was chose as the best pop music in France in 2005? I guess not.All Iranian songs are current pop /Club-Dance/Trance/ DJ music.I send them to my American and Canadian chat friends and they all say they're some of the best songs they've ever heard.

Here's a sample of the latest hits.(So catchy.Right?) I believe in "Express yourself through music and that music is a universal language".

And so on and on!

It's now 2007 and people still think we are uneducated people living in deserts, riding camels and carrying around guns!!!!

See how the media are fooling people?

Let's clarify some political issues as well:

Some of the Americans I chatted with, said in the U.S it's said that president Ahmadinejad hates the U.S and Israel and wants to nuke them!! The media are good at putting comments. It's easy to show a video or an image of our president or leader on the T.V screen or on the internet and say he says this, he says that.....I really don't get the point why our politicians defame themselves by talking about things that have got nothing to do with us.For example does verbal defence of Palestinians cause them to have a better life? The thing is that they occasionally make some statements that the media would misuse it agaisnt Iran. For example they pick up some specific phrases of a long speech (without reffering to the main points and reasons for that speech) and put so many bad comments on that.No sane person would take it for granted.

First of all, Iranians don't hate anyone. If our government complains about some injustice going on in the world, it's not bad.Is it? (Although what we want them is to shut up and not to get us into trouble by talking about things that are none of our concern) We hate neither Jews nor Americans.I love Americans otherwise why would I talk to them?! How would our guys dream of America, be like them as much as possible and hate it at the same time?! I've got to say that for Iran Israel is not equal with Jews! Israel is a gov't.Jews are faithful people! A few of them live here in our neighbourhood and they live just like the rest of Iranians. No difference. And two of Iran's parliment members are Jews. Who says we want to force others to convert to Islam?Have you ever found a Muslem knocking at your door asking you to do so?It's so funny the way you imagine things and make yourselves believe in your own immaginations! Christians and Jews are both God believers and respectful to us.I wonder why the media like putting words in our mouth and raising hatred. In Iran, religion would be the least important thing. It means that where you come from and what your religion is, are not important to us at all.On the contrary, meeting different people would be so interesting for us!

I wonder Iran is a threat to whom. Is that logical to say someone's guilty because we THINK / PREDICT that he's going to do something wrong?!!!! And they repeat the same "nuclear weapons" tosh over and over and brainwash people! News headlines: "We won't allow Iran to gain nuclear weapons"!!! Correction! It's "nuclear energy".Besides, how many "nuclear weapons" do they have themselves? Hundreds of thousands? Has Iran ever attacked any countries? No.Has it developed any nukes? No! That's what nuclear agency says.Only Iran's oppositions are pulling Iran's leg and what they say is of no credit. It's just based on political conflicts. What we're doing is legal. What they ask us to do (ignoring our international rights) is illegal. Iran is a peaceful country. Why? It's the regional super-power and if she wanted, she could easily invade the countries in our neibourhood just like what Seddam did to our country, but as you see Iran has peaceful relations with all of them.It can set an example to some countries that just follow their interests (oil!).Interesting! the countries accusing Iran of different things have been, and are still accused of the same things!!! How logical!

Some people say he said: Israel should be wiped off the map! But have they told you the rest of his speech and that why he's said this at all?You know that it's a passive sentence. He's never said that IRAN wants to wipe Israel off the map! He wasn't talking about destroying Israel. He was talking about relocating Israel, so that they could live seperate from Palestinians and they could both live in peace. They've only told you this phrase not the whole thing and it's mistranslated intentionally.Iran's always defended itself, but it's not an offensive country.

Some say he's said: Holocaust is a myth! again this is a single phrase from among a long speech and there are totally logical reasons for saying so.If 6'000'000 Jews were killed, that's so terrible, but those 300'000 Shiite Moslems killed by Saddam aren't important at all! Over 650'000 Iraqi people are killed and it's not important! When Fox News simply says: America and Israel are capable of destroying and killing all Iran's 69'000'000 population within two weeks, it's OK and no one says they're threatening other countries to nuke them (I saw this with my own eyes on the Fox News website) Millions of people killed in Afghanistan, Hiroshima %26amp; Nakazaki and Vietnam war are not considered human beings at all! Now I think you'd get the point why he's IRONICALLY said it's a mith. Moreover, don't you believe in freedom of speech/mind? I'd judge people by their ACTIONS rather than by what they say / their religion / race / culture and the colour of their skin! There are two types of modernism. One of them can be seen: "living among skyscrapers and using the latest technology".The other one cannot be seen: "The way of thinking!"

Obviousely, some countries are using Iran as a victim to put the blame (their own faults) on Iran. And which country is better than Iran to be a victim? They've made the whole world believe that Iran isn't a peaceful country.I know Americans don't like these either, but what can they do?They're not responsible for controlling what the media say

This part is just for Americans who would still argue over unimportant things: Those of you who say why Iran says "Death to America": 1.America means the U.S govt not the people. How do you expect Iranians to mean "American people" when our media admires Americans for marching and holding up "no war" placards?! 2.The new generation don't say such things and if some of them occasionally march in the streets that's because some of the stupid guys enjoy making noise and they mainly go out there to meet their girlfreids/boyfriends! Strange.Isn't it? 3.Such mottos are not just said in Iran and as you know whatever you hear is a response to the U.S govt's terrible actions which has made life for many people hell (You wouldn't deny that attacking countries is a mistake.right?) 5.The U.S gov't helped Seddam to attack Iran and I hope you know which country gave Iraq biological weapons which killed lots of Iranians 6.America hit an Iranian airplane over the Persian Gulf and killed 200 passengers for no reason 7.It's always botherng Iran by sanctions, displaying false image of Iran and Iranians, scares tourists away from Iran and is always harmful to our economy, development and credit 8.It's always despised the Iranians who travel to the U.S at their arrival (even ordinary ones, university students, sportsmen, scientists etc)

To those who are upset with American hostages taken for 444 days: 1.Firstly, It's related to so many years ago and it's almost a part of history and don't forget that when there's a revolution, there'd be cheos and people may do things that they should not, moreover they're all alive and healthy.Aren't they? 2.The U.S has arrested Iranian diplomats in Iraq and has tortured the one who was freed.Poor British sailors were detained by the English gov't just for saying that they were treated well in Iran and that Iranians were logical people (They said these when they were on England's soil!) They were PREVENTED from releasing their memoirs by England! Now you decide who has the right to be upset with whom. How do you believe in their lies about politics when they hide both the most and the least important things from you considering the fact that politics is the world of lies in its nature?!!! Considering all this, you'd PROBABLY be able to GUESS what percentage of what they tell you about the Mid-East, Islam, Moslems and other things is true!!! lol

Isn't it better for both countries to forget about the past conflicts and to have peaceful relations? The two gov'ts are like 10 year old children playing a game by harsh rhetoric. They don't care about hurting people's feelings. They just try to show that the people are enemies of each other to achieve their own goals. We as the people of these countries MUST NOT have any conflics. You know something? All govts are hateful.I just said the above things because it sounds unfair when some Americans talk about 444 hostage taking and I keep being silent.I hope you agree on this one! Now, what do you think? I can't wait to see both nations in peace. It'd be marvelous!

Plz whenever you have time, find and read an article about "ethnocentrism".Knowing the meaning of this term is not enough. After reading about it, you'll feel a noticable positive change in your attitude towards different people! Guaranteed!

Thanks for your time.

How do you feel about this? (This is the fact)?
I thought you statement was a great read and I believe you. The media has a way if twisting and spinning the facts. The US administration had been deluded to think our influences has more value than the culture we are trying to influence. Iran want to be in the modern age and should be looking for ways to do it. Even if, and I am not saying it is true Iran wants to defend it's sovereign nation it is a good idea to have a good weapon as a deterrent against aggressors. We in America need to understand Iranian culture, and I hope many people read what you have written. I did want to say that your web site's are not coming up with any reasonable wait.
Reply:I can't possibly take the time to read this. I'm too busy worried about Lindsay Lohan getting arrested after a car accident Saturday night; too concerned about how many days Paris Hilton will really spend behind bars; and, up until this last week or so, too busy worrying about who's gonna win American Idol. I don't have to know anything about the world or it's issues; but I think I get my gasoline for my SUV from somewhere way far away and it's been costing me me me a lot lately. Can your country please send me me me some?
Reply:Jeez! I read it all.

You are not going to get many Americans reading this, (pity) because they have a very short attention span.

You know, I have lived in most parts of the world, and I speak with authority when I say that all people are basically the same. They all want the same things:

A good job, a good education for their kids, a nice place to live and security.

But the world media finds this very boring, so things are manipulated and twisted in order to make money.

And most of us believe all their b*llshit.
Reply:david thank you for your information! it took some time to read !lol you know americans always impatient!!!there is now so much more for me to think about iran .i do realize that the media blows much out of proportion and many thing are taken out of context. i hope many more americans have realized this also.keep sending us this type of information because i don't think the american media can be trusted to get all the facts right!! LOL i think i just got a thumbs down, but this is how i feel . thanks and good luck!!
Reply:thank's for the information
Reply:Hey Dave, well explained!!! you appear to me at least to be a well educated and free thinking individual. I think most will not bother reading this because they are not willing to any opinions other than their own. When we see extremists on TV, most people think that these few represent the masses. BIG MISTAKE!!! Every religion on the planet has the same problem. If we took the time to get to know any person we would be amazed at the things we have in common. Glad to see you care enough to inform those of us who would really like to learn of your culture!! It takes a brave soul to stand speak your mind. KUDOS TO YOU!!!!!!!
Reply:do you have more sources to make your case.??
Reply:Well! That's some long message! It seems Iranians sure like to type!

Anyhow, you seem like a real decent guy and alot of what you said it probably true about your people.

Two things though...

Your President IS a WACKO-NUTCASE and needs to be sedated perhaps for a long-long time, (like forever.)

He DID say he want to knock off Israel and the US and I beleive he will try it.

When and if he does try, it will mean the end off all your TV satellite dishes, clothing, cool music and all the other "western" things that you have embraced. So long Starbucks, So long Mc Donalds, So long Who Wants to be a Millionaire" Do everyone a big favor... Knock off that nut before we or Israel have to.

Two..."Iran is one of the super-consumers of cosmics"

I think you either meant COMICS or COSMETICS...LOL!

Stay Well, Peace!

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined

I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you

Open up the dirty window

Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance

So close you can almost taste it

Release your inhibitions

Feel the rain on your skin

No one else can feel it for you

Only you can let it in

No one else, no one else

Can speak the words on your lips

Drench yourself in words unspoken

Live your life with arms wide open

Today is where your book begins

The rest is still unwritten

Oh, oh, oh

I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines

We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way

Rain on my skin

I feel a gentle summer wind

In your eyes

I can see the deep blue sky

Let it rain

Let it colour all my skin

Wash away my doubts and pain

I wanna discover

I don't wanna make believe

Only one thing on my mind

I'm alive

Let the island spirit shine

I am thinking of submitting it for publishing and would like your opinion. I got some thick skin, so be honest.

Thanks

Seeing You

The rain is drowning,

Work was regrettable,

The car wouldn’t start,

Today is worth frowning.

Now walking home,

Rain dripping down my chin,

There is no one out,

I feel very alone.

Opening the door,

Soaked through and dripping,

Thinking how terrible today was,

Muddy shoes on the floor.

Then you step in,

Cheeks glowing walking to me,

Drying my hair with a towel,

You kiss me still smiling.

Accompanying you to the kitchen,

Rain still splashing outside,

Handing me a cup of hot cocoa,

Then you ask and want to listen.

How was your day?

Looking at you forgetting everything,

Knowing you love me,

Not lying I had a perfect day.

Please read my "love" poem? I want your opinion?
Go ahead and have it published.

Does this speaks to anyone else makes u feel different..?

HILARY DUFF

"Come Clean"

Let's go back

Back to the beginning

Back to when the earth, the sun, the stars all aligned

'Cause perfect didn't feel so perfect

Trying to fit a square into a circle

Was no life

I defy

[Chorus:]

Let the rain fall down

And wake my dreams

Let it wash away

My sanity

'Cause I wanna feel the thunder

I wanna scream

Let the rain fall down

I'm coming clean, I'm coming clean

I'm shedding

Shedding every color

Trying to find a pigment of truth

Beneath my skin

'Cause different

Doesn't feel so different

And going out is better

Then always staying in

Feel the wind

[Chorus]

I'm coming clean

Let the rain fall

Let the rain fall

I'm coming...

[Chorus x2]

Let's go back

Back to the beginning

How do you empower your emotions?

i use my senses and imagination a lot...i like to take everything in around me and feel everything i see...try and draw on the energy around me...so if i am in a thunderstorm for instance i would look at how everything around me is...how the rain is falling, how fast the wind is moving, how the clouds are forming...how it feels when it hits my skin how it tastes...how i feel when i look at it, the smell...how i feel barefoot in it, dancing in it ...you get the picture by now right? lol...and this works the same for me with many other things too...now when i think about those things at a later date it can evoke powerful emotions in me...and i find i can then turn these feelings into energy i need for a variety of situations...i know loads of you already think im bonkers so im not really bothered about that but i am interested in how you empower or evoke your emotions to the max...

How do you empower your emotions?
My senses are more or less aligned to my emotions. For example, if it is a bright, sunny day, birds chirping etc., you won't find me out of ordinary, but if its raining - particularly thunderstorm, then my senses goes into a shell, I shut out the rest of the world. I get lost in a world of my own. When I was a little boy, one of my class teacher once wrote to my mom, "when the raindrops falls on the leaves (of the plants), we lose Somdeep". Really, nothing sort of a good headbutt could get me out of that trance. However some of my best paintings were created from that. The feeling that your mind and senses are in harmony with the nature - is a very powerful one, and probably the best tool a creative person can ever have.
Reply:So you really don't want to know how I do it, do you?
Reply:Consentrate relaxing
Reply:That's a great ability. I myself wish I could turn my emotions off, because they never seem to do me any good and they arise at the most inappropriate of moments.
Reply:when I wake up in the morning and stand at my balcony.........
Reply:music. same thing, i turn it up loud and hear every note and vibration, the harmony and the message. they invoke memories in me. every song reminds me of a time and place and possibly an emotion. i get what you are saying and with me it's music.
Reply:i dunno..but i wish i could turn off my emotions ...they never seem to stop...?
Reply:No, I don't think you are bonkers at all! Emotional energy and particularly love - more than just the romantic kind - is what drives everybody. When it is blocked or misdirected, it creates a log-jam or 'sparking' (like an electrical circuit gone wrong or with a screwdriver jammed in it!).

Have a look at this website. I think you may find it interesting:

http://www.emofree.com
Reply:Believe i your self and what you are striving for. I've no doubt you will achieve it. Good luck!
Reply:well a good question to that question would be, what are the critical emotions?

for me it's loss of loved ones, pure true love, incredible resentment to the point of which it's entertaining.

this is a little indirect and maybe not to the max nessisarily, but it is more concurrent. associate those feeling with physical entities. common occurances, objects and types of people. be broad.

color is an example of that, if you condition your mind to associate red with love or anger, completely engulf yourself with that color. red carpet red walls red table, chairs, desk, bed, pictures. different shades of red. everywhere.

experiment with certain things that mean something to you, and emotions that you would like to feel.

oh, and if practical isnt your thing, drugs are always an alternative.
Reply:Hi She,

Cant relate to this unfortunately, not as spiritulised as your goodself but it has always interested me, maybe i need tips to get into it.
Reply:Dammit She, your questions are so goddamn hard!

I'm a man, what the hell do I know about emotions?! ;)
Reply:Right then, lets come back to this again. I cannot check my emotions, whatever I'm feeling just pours out. You've gathered by now that I love to laugh. I can see funny in anything. I'm the worst liar in the world. I cannot disguise my feelings. I wear my emotions on my sleeve for all and sundry to see.

Does anybody like this poem i writ earlier?

I feel the rain against my skin

I calmly close my eyes

As the pain and misery begin

My souls breaks and cries

With you i am entwined

Without you im confined

To nothingness

Im blind

To the things i've left behind

My soul has fled

My body is hollow

My eyes have bled

Naught but sorrow

I'll stay with you until the end

I will try so hard to mend

The nothingness

Between our disconnected souls

Together we'll cover these holes

My soul, It yearns for you

My body lies lifeless

Our love, It's so true

Without you, I'm a mess

Our souls, They are as one

But now that your gone

Im back into nothingness

I'll find you again

And we will be together

We will no longer feel the pain

We'll be together forever

Our love is stronger than the heavens above

And nothing can keep us apart

Nothing is stronger than our love

And you will ALWAYS have my heart

xx♥xx

Thank you

Does anybody like this poem i writ earlier?
ppl above me r asswholes...it ws good.the mood was sad.n tob a sad mood it was ok.i kinda liked it.
Reply:Depressing, depressing, very depressing.
Reply:depressing
Reply:cool i like the dark element
Reply:trite, boring, wordy, predictable. Blah. Don't quit your day job.
Reply:I dont want to criticize too much but the work of a poet is too look at the world in different ways and not to succumb to cliches and to produce a work of art that delights the ears. You have done neither of the three.

1. I could find thousands who would say those exact words

2. The cliches are everywhere they scrape upon my ears like a cheese grater, find an idea and try to express in ways never thought of before.

3. Read it out loud as flowing work and you will find it clumpy and ungraceful.

As improvement i would suggest going and buying a poem anthology and reading any great poet, keats for example. Ode to autumn flows, uses no cliches and is like music upon my ears, not to judge you with a genius. Just to improve.
Reply:it is depressing...but it is k.

What's tht song called and who sang it from the pantene adverts?
Thought you might want the lyrics!

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined

I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you

Open up the dirty window

Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance

So close you can almost taste it

Release your inhibitions

Feel the rain on your skin

No one else can feel it for you

Only you can let it in

No one else, no one else

Can speak the words on your lips

Drench yourself in words unspoken

Live your life with arms wide open

Today is where your book begins

The rest is still unwritten

Oh, oh, oh

I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines

We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way

Staring at the blank page before you

Open up the dirty window

Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance

So close you can almost taste it

Release your inhibitions

Feel the rain on your skin

No one else can feel it for you

Only you can let it in

No one else, no one else

Can speak the words on your lips

Drench yourself in words unspoken

Live your life with arms wide open
