Have you ever felt the rain lfting you up?

Have you ever had your grief or sorrow washed away by those fresh droplets of rain brushing on your skin? It happened to me today. It was pouring when I got home after a long awful day, and I just allowed myself to get drenched all the way home and I just felt as if all my feelings, worries and doubts flowed away! Just like a dear friend's kind words just passed through my heart and snatched away all my uncertainty and shone on me like a heavy glow of light! Does this make sense??! :-)

Tell me about your similar experiences, if not with the rain...

(A friendly question for once!) :-) Thank you :-)

Have you ever felt the rain lfting you up?
The beauty of nature seems to spread, and distribute positive energy..

For example...While I was relaxing on the beach in Eilat - my worries seemed to drift away a long with the tide...

The soothing sound of the waves, so peaceful and pure..The soft, comforting sand and the warm friendly sun..

Nature can have such a great effect on somebody. Whether that's a positive or negative effect.

For instance: A field of sunflowers dancing under the sun, or an animal lieing lifeless on the side of the road!

I love nature.

Reply:The same thing would have happened if you had taken a shower. Humidity makes the world seem oppressive. The rain is the release of humidity.
Reply:I live in northwestern Oregon and I love the rain (usually). My mom used to say that rain washed the atmosphere, perhaps you experienced a cleansing.
Reply:Tuvinian (Soyot) (north of Mongolia):

The giant frog (or turtle) which supported the earth moved, which caused the cosmic ocean to begin flooding the earth. An old man who had guessed something like this would happen built an iron-reinforced raft, boarded it with his family, and was saved. When the waters receded, the raft was left on a high wooded mountain, where, it is said, it remains today. After the flood, Kezer-Tshingis-Kaira-Khan created everything around us. Among other things, he taught people how to make strong liquor. [Holmberg, p. 366]
Reply:No. The laws of physics dictate that rain falls; thus, rain tends to put a damper on my plans.
Reply:Fun question, reminds me of the Beatles song "Rain"!

I LOVE being outside in the rain!

Especially after a frustrating day, I seem to be left feeling really refreshed and cool!

Nevertheless the one thing that seems to wash away all my worries is MUSIC and WRITING!

To write my books and understand the characters I'm talking about, I have to become them! My problems seem to vanish, when I have a pen in my hand!

Talking of so, I'm off to lock myself about and escape into my music!

Bye!
