What do you think of Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten"?

I personally think it's very stupid. ya, it's supposed to be deep, sure, but it's not to a real extent.

i mean seriously, cosider the lines:

"Reaching for something in the distance

So close you can almost taste it"

What are you, like, reaching for a cake or something?

and why 'taste', why not touch or feel?

and then there's:

"Feel the rain on your skin

No one else can feel it for you

Only you can let it in"

what, you'er letting your skin absorb the rain? i don't think so. and of course no one else can feel it for you (it's falling on you, after all)!

OK so maybe i'm being a bit too harsh...

what do you think about her song?

P.S. the lyrics are on

What do you think of Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten"?
I adore Natasha. I think that she is so beautiful, and much more honest than some other girls out there today!

Most people who just heard the single come out on the radio are in love with it. But if you're like me, who likes to dig up music from a few years ago, mostly from other countries, and listen to it and keep it for my own with my circle of friends-- to hear this soulful and meaningful song be put to video and onto the radio, totally crushed it. It's better to be an original, in my wrold, and then when everyone knows about it, and I'm hearing this song being grated onto my nerves-- it doesn't seem as meaningful anymore.

The thing is, it's a great song (as long as you don't analyze the lyrics to death)... I think that you've just heard it too many times, as have I. Oh my god-- it's so annoying. It's awesome for her, but now everyone loves Natasha Bedingfield and I can't exactly be as original anymore. *annoyed look*
Reply:I dont like the video...

Its so predictable, The song I find is forgettable...
Reply:Ahh...That song is getting SO old. Like I can't even listen to more than 30 seconds of it anymore without turning the channel. I never liked that song in the first place. Yuck.
Reply:well i like it but i see your point and it is getting REALLY REALLY OLD
Reply:cool
Reply:i don't like the song at all, i find it really stupid.
Reply:I like it and it's supposed to be inspirational.
Reply:I olve her video and lyrics, it's kinda deep for me, but you know I'm a kid kids have different minds.. I think that the part: Live your life with arms wide open, is kinda like a sheltering thing, or something like that!
Reply:Yeah you're being tooooooooooooooooooo harsh. I love the song. It is soo real. You have to think about it. The song is about letting go. And you have to do it 4 u. Not anyone else
Reply:i dont think you should be so particular about the lyrics, if you like the song as a whole meaning the words together with the tune than put it on your ipod if not dont. at first i didnt think the song was to bad but then i started hearing it 5 times a day whenever i turned the radio on and got so sick of it.
Reply:i heart it! it does sometimes get old, but it has a good message.
Reply:I like the song.

F.Y.I. ''so close you can almost taste it'' doesn't mean that you're literally tasting it.. i mean ''so close you can almost touch it'' sounds like something a fourth-grader would write.

%26amp; "Feel the rain on your skin

No one else can feel it for you

Only you can let it in"

means only you can live your life, not anybody else.

you're being a little harsh here. could u write something better?
Reply:I love her song! AND LYRICS! She is telling on her life. She is saying how the end hasn't come and no one has told her how her life will end. And her life is going on. She is also telling how you should also make your own decisions. She is telling you to be loving.

You are reaching for an achievement. You are so close to winning.

Be welcoming.
Reply:Yeah you're being to harsh. The song is talking about live your life in the moment and savor all of the experiences that life has to offer. However, I liked the song at first but its so overplayed I want to shoot the radio whenever it comes on.
Reply:i like the song ok so its got no meaning but its summit better than old songs that hav even less meaning
Reply:I like the song a lot.
Reply:The lyrics to this song are creative, honest, soulful. I consider it a lovely piece of art in a museum surrounded by colouring books.
